Madinah, February 15, 2024, Under the auspices of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and in representation of Governor of Madinah region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Madinah region Prince Saud bin Khalid bin Faisal inaugurated the 23rd Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit Research.
Organized by Umm Al-Qura University, through its Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, the forum adopts the theme "Health Excellence in Serving the Guests of Allah."
In his address, Dr. Adnan Al-Shahrani, the dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, underscored the forum's role as a nexus for innovative endeavors and exceptional services, with over 40 participating entities. These initiatives, he noted, aim to enhance the pilgrimage experience, from the visitors' arrival in the Kingdom to their safe departure back to their home countries.
Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Al Madh-hab, the president of Umm Al-Qura University, emphasized the forum's significance, annually honored with the esteemed patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and attended by their Royal Highnesses, the regional princes of Makkah and Madinah. He also highlighted the forum's scientific sessions, which elevate discourse on matters pertinent to serving the pilgrims of Allah Almighty.
