Doha, November 21, 2023, Minister of State and Cabinet Member, Prince Turki bin Mohammad bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, recently visited the Saudi and Qatari pavilions participating in the Horticultural Expo 2023 in Doha. Welcomed by Qatari Minister of Municipality Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, Prince Turki first explored the Saudi pavilion where Saleh bin Abdul Mohsen bin Dakhil, the General Supervisor, provided a comprehensive presentation on key sustainability projects, green environmental initiatives, renewable energy contributions, and major environmentally friendly projects in Saudi Arabia.
Transitioning to the Qatari Pavilion, Prince Turki was greeted by Eng. Mohammed Ali Al Khouri, Secretary General of the Horticulture Doha Expo 2023 and Director of the Public Parks Department at the Qatari Ministry of Municipality. The Qatari pavilion showcased challenges and solutions supporting the shift to environmentally friendly practices, innovative ideas, and modern agricultural techniques that contribute to the future of the environment. The visit underscored the collaborative efforts between the two nations in promoting sustainable initiatives and environmental consciousness.
