Riyadh, December 27, 2023, The Princes expressed their deep sense of honor as they solemnly undertook the oath of allegiance before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The distinguished ceremony took place today at Irqah Palace in Riyadh, graced by the esteemed presence of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The occasion was made even more significant following the issuance of royal orders appointing them to their new and prestigious positions.
Among those who took the oath were prominent figures such as Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, newly appointed Governor of Madinah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Region, Prince Khalid bin Saud bin Abdullah bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Tabuk Region, Prince Khalid bin Sattam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Asir Region, and Prince Miteb bin Mishaal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Al-Jouf Region.
The oath-taking ceremony was a solemn moment, during which the Princes avowed their commitment by stating, "I swear by Allah Almighty to be loyal to my religion, King, and homeland, not to divulge any of the State's secrets, to maintain its interests and regulations, and to perform my duties with honesty, integrity, and sincerity."
