Riyadh, April 18, 2024, Princess Ahad bint Al-Hassan, the Director of the Operations Department at the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF), recently had the honor of presenting awards to the victorious participants of the sixth day's men's competitions at the 2024 Junior and Cadet Fencing World Championships. The event took place at the King Saud University Sports Arena in Riyadh, adding a touch of prestige to the sporting scene in the city.
In the Men's Team Épée U-20 category, the Italian team secured the gold medal, showcasing their skill and determination. They triumphed over the French team, who displayed remarkable prowess to earn the silver medal. The Swiss team demonstrated their talent and clinched the bronze medal, adding to the excitement of the competition.
Reflecting on the overall championship standings, the U.S. team emerged as leaders with an impressive tally of nine medals, including 3 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals. Their success extended to the Women's Team Épée event, where they secured the gold medal by defeating Italy, who earned the silver medal.
