Princess Nourah University hosts 6th edition of Women's Excellence Prize

Riyadh, March 04, 2024, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University is set to host the sixth edition of Princess Nourah's Prize for Women's Excellence, a prestigious event under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. The ceremony, scheduled for Thursday at the university's conferences and seminars center, will witness the presence of Her Highness Princess Fahda bint Falah Al Hathleen, the spouse of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.

This distinguished prize aims to commend the outstanding achievements of Saudi women across various fields such as healthcare, science, humanities, social work, arts, and economics. By acknowledging their significant contributions, the award not only serves as a recognition of their excellence but also seeks to inspire future generations and provide essential support for women's endeavors.

Aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and national development programs, Princess Nourah's Prize acknowledges the pivotal role played by women in key sectors including energy, environment, industry and mining, education, health, tourism, sports, social responsibility, entertainment, culture, and heritage.

Established by a Cabinet decision, the Princess Nourah's Prize for Women's Excellence functions as a pioneering national platform, elevating and celebrating the accomplishments of Saudi women. In harmony with the university's strategic plan for 2025, the prize actively supports and empowers Saudi women, recognizing their diverse accomplishments and fostering activities and events that highlight their invaluable contributions to the nation's development and cultural enrichment.
