Princess Nourah University Received the QS World Classification's Most Improved University in the Arab Region Award

Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh won the \"Recognition Award: Most Improved—Arab Region\" in the QS World University Rankings.


The university was ranked among the top 700 universities around the world.


The University's Progress in Rankings


The progress of the university is due to it focusing on research, establishing academic programs, empowering causes of women and sustainability.


On June 7, 2024, Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University in Riyadh won the most advanced universities in the Arab world, the \"Recognition Award: Most Improved-Arab Region\". The rankings this year are for 1,503 other countries, and 20 Saudi colleges participated, and Princess Nourah University was among the world's 700 most ranking universities. Five primary characteristics have been evaluated in these rankings, including research and innovation, employment, teaching experience, global connectedness, and sustainability, which will be taking stock of the level of education excellence. The presence of Princess Nourah Institution in the QS World Classification 2025, and its recognition as the most developed institution in the Arab region over the past five years, reflects that it has diligently proceeded on the achievement of objectives outlined in Kingdom's 2030 Vision. It means that one of the key reasons for a University’s success in the ranking is the competitive edge that its academic, cognitive. Also, among the most important factors that make a university achieve this status is its research performance which involves the research aspect.


It attained this high level in building the research environment and education in providing financial support for research, encouraging the members to do research of high quality, and focusing on strategies of research that are compatible with national priorities. The institution has, as a result, followed up building its high position in the global ratings and attracting students and scholars from other countries to her. Over the past five years, the university has channeled its energies towards various initiatives, programs, and quality achievements to ensure that it provides an educational environment that is distinctive and sustainable. The university developed 44 bachelor's degree programs, 14 master's degree programs, and a host of initiatives, projects, and partnerships, locally and internationally, to assist academic achievement, advocate for women's issues, and work towards greater sustainability.


The fourth goal of sustainable development is to: \"Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.\"The university also initiated the \"Sustainable Green University,\" established the Tuwaiq Academy with the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, and started the first green hydrogen production plant in the Kingdom with the University of Tokyo. The university cooperated in all of these achievements. The institution is also establishing two centers: the Sarah Al-Sudairi Center for Women's Studies and the Center for Women's Leadership.The Quacquarelli Symonds organization is responsible for publishing the QS World University Rankings in the UK. It analyzes more than 1,500 universities on an annual basis. The basis of this ranking is employability and sustainability.
