On June 17, 2024, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) started distributing sacrificial meat, known as Adahi, in Aden, Yemen. Al-Mansoura distributed meat from 300 sacrificial animals on the first day of Eid al-Adha. This effort aims to assist 2,800 individuals affected by disabilities, displacement, or chronic illnesses. The project's broader goal is to distribute meat from 2,330 sacrificial animals to 32,620 families across Aden, Marib, Hadramout, Al-Mahrah, and Lahij. This initiative targets both host communities and vulnerable families in these areas with lower incomes. The Saudi Arabian government stated, "This initiative is part of ongoing Saudi efforts, as KSrelief continues to support humanitarian and relief activities in Yemen."
