Madinah, January 10, 2024, The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque has reported that during the third week of Jumada Al-Akhirah, the Prophet's Mosque welcomed a total of 5,513,921 worshipers and visitors. The provision of integrated and high-quality services ensured a smooth and easy prayer experience for the crowds.
According to the periodic statistics released by the authority, it facilitated the entry of 220,304 worshippers to perform prayers at the revered Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah. Additionally, 13,262 elderly and individuals with disabilities benefited from the specialized services allocated for them during the week. A notable 129,944 people from diverse nationalities availed themselves of the communication services provided in multiple languages.
The authority further disclosed that 10,902 people visited the mosque's library, and 2,961 individuals explored exhibitions and museums on the premises. Moreover, 102,101 gifts were distributed among visitors, and a total of 11,189 guidance services were extended through the unified number and other communication channels.
In terms of sustenance, the authority ensured the distribution of over 126,000 bottles of Zamzam water and 134,429 Iftar meals to both worshippers and visitors of the mosque. These comprehensive efforts highlight the commitment of the General Authority to provide a holistic and enriching experience for those who come to the Prophet's Mosque.
