Madinah, January 25, 2024, The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque has reported that the Prophet's Mosque received a total of 6,322,392 worshipers and visitors from the 5th to the 11th of Rajab. The management of crowds was facilitated through integrated and high-quality services, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for those attending prayers.
According to the statistics released by the authority, 642,291 individuals visited the tomb of Prophet Mohammed, and 278,239 visitors performed prayers at Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifa. This was done by organizational procedures that regulate the movement of crowds and schedule times for optional prayers for both men and women.
The report also highlighted that 15,829 elderly individuals and people with disabilities benefited from services provided to them during the past week. Additionally, 12,796 visitors took advantage of guidance services, while 9,690 sought information at the Prophet's Mosque's library.
A total of 3,284 people visited exhibitions and museums, and 167,334 gifts were presented to visitors. Transportation services were utilized by 32,083 individuals. Moreover, more than 142,400 bottles of Zamzam water were distributed, and 94,561 Iftar meals were provided in designated corridors of the mosque for those who had been fasting. These statistics reflect the meticulous organization and comprehensive services offered at the Prophet's Mosque to accommodate the needs of worshipers and visitors.
