
Madinah, March 29, 2025 – The General Presidency for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques has completed extensive preparations, including a comprehensive field plan developed with security authorities, to accommodate the expected surge of worshippers at the Prophet's Mosque for the Quran recitation completion night, ensuring easy access and a peaceful environment.
Operational services have been enhanced, with the provision of prayer areas with carpets, stringent cleaning protocols involving five daily washes and four fumigation sessions, and the distribution of Zamzam water.
The presidency has deployed 161 cleaning vehicles and distributed 27,000 prayer rugs.
Crowd management efforts focus on clearing passageways for smooth movement throughout the mosque, courtyards, and rooftop.
Maintenance services for elevators, sound, lighting, air conditioning, and safety systems have been inspected, and emergency systems and rain preparedness measures are in place. Volunteer teams have been strengthened to provide additional support to worshippers.
