Al-Kharj, February 22, 2024, Students hailing from the Department of Industrial Engineering at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University (PSAU), situated in Al-Kharj, have garnered international acclaim with an outstanding feat. Their triumph unfolded at the 14th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Operations Management in Dubai, where they clinched the esteemed Best Scientific Project Poster Award and secured the third position. The event drew participants from more than 50 nations across the globe.
The project undertaken by PSAU students centered on enhancing productivity and augmenting revenue at Al-Jomaih Factory. Through the judicious application of industrial engineering principles, meticulous data analysis, and adept operations management, the team formulated comprehensive strategies geared towards achieving these objectives.
