AlUla, October 30, 2023, The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) recently unveiled the commencement of direct flights by Qatar Airways, with the first flight landing at AlUla International Airport from Doha's Hamad International Airport. This new air link offers travelers the opportunity to discover AlUla's natural marvels, partake in various events and festivals hosted throughout the year, and experience the hospitality of this captivating tourist destination.
Qatar Airways, with its extensive network covering over 160 destinations worldwide, connects AlUla to various regions, including Asia, North and South America, and Europe. This expansion facilitates global travelers' access to AlUla, with the airline operating two weekly flights between Doha and AlUla on Fridays and Sundays.
Rami AlMoallim, RCU's Vice President of Destination Management and Marketing, emphasized the growth and ongoing prosperity of AlUla's tourism sector, attributing it to the commission's collaborations with regional and international airlines.
