Qatar joins 32 countries at Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition

Riyadh, September 18, 2023, Representatives from the State of Qatar arrived at the headquarters of the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), raising the total number of countries with representatives at the headquarters to 32. The Secretary-General of the IMCTC, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Al-Moghedi, praised the arrival of Qatari representatives, saying that it was a positive step by the Qatari government that reflected its belief in the need to intensify international efforts to combat all incitement to violence and confront all extremist trends. The 42 member governments of the IMCTC, along with other friendly nations and international organizations, collaborate to combat the global threat of terrorism.
