Taif, April 29, 2024, The Taif Rose Festival, known as Qitaf 19, kicked off at Al-Rudaf Park in collaboration with the Taif Rose Cooperative Society and Taif Municipality, drawing in a significant crowd of visitors eager to partake in the festive ambiance.
One of the main attractions of the festival is a spectacular flower and rose carpet covering an impressive 5,206 square meters. Comprising a staggering 1,026,491 roses and flowers of various hues and shapes, the carpet is adorned with decorative patterns inspired by Taif Governorate's rich heritage and historic palaces. This captivating display serves as a favorite backdrop for thousands of festival-goers capturing memorable photos during their visit.
In addition to the enchanting carpet, the festival boasts a diverse array of attractions, including traditional performances and dances, mesmerizing water and light shows, vibrant vending stalls, and an engaging children's zone. Moreover, local businesses seize the opportunity to showcase their rose-based products, adding a unique touch to the festivities.
Recently renovated by Taif Municipality, Al-Rudaf Park now offers enhanced facilities and amenities to accommodate the influx of visitors of all ages.
