Jeddah, October 12, 2023, Razan Al-Ajmi, a Saudi enthusiast of adventure and challenges, has achieved remarkable feats in skydiving. As the first Saudi woman to secure a freediving license from the USA Parachute Association (USPA), she has completed nearly 500 jumps across the GCC countries, as well as in Spain, France, and Russia in just two years.
For Razan, freediving is an inseparable part of her life, and her fervor for the sport has driven her to become a certified freediving trainer in Saudi Arabia. Currently, she is actively working on establishing an educational institution dedicated to this exhilarating sport.
In a promising development, Razan has announced her intent to train for a new sport, "Simulation of Skydiving" or "Indoor Skydive," as part of the upcoming Riyadh/Boulevard World season commencing on October 28, 2023. Furthermore, she plans to continue her participation in training camps and competitions with the goal of representing the Kingdom in free skydiving paratrooper events on a global scale.
