Riyadh, February 15, 2025 – The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) has announced that the Riyadh Metro has served nearly 18 million passengers since its official launch on December 1, 2024. Over the past two and a half months, the metro system has completed more than 162,000 trips, covering approximately 4.5 million kilometers across its six extensive train lines.Among the network’s routes, the Blue Line—Al-Olaya Al-Batha Axis emerged as the most heavily utilized, accounting for nearly 10 million passengers during this period.
