In a significant move, the Royal Commission for AlUla Governorate (RCU) has joined forces with Space for Giants, an environmental conservation organization. The partnership, effective December 2, 2023, is geared towards safeguarding biodiversity, curbing carbon emissions, and enhancing carbon storage capacities within AlUla's natural reserves.
Over the next three years, the collaborative efforts between RCU and Space for Giants will focus on designing and implementing activities aimed at managing, protecting, and monitoring biodiversity and natural environments. These initiatives will adhere to international standards and contribute to the objectives outlined in the Saudi Green Initiative and the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
