RCU partners with Artefact and Dassault Systemes for data analysis, modeling

AlUla, October 25, 2023, The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has entered into two significant collaboration agreements with global firms, Artefact and Dassault Systemes, focusing on data analysis and digital modeling solutions. These partnerships, inked during the Future Investment Initiative Forum, aim to advance comprehensive and sustainable development in AlUla.

The agreements will expand the RCU's network of technology partners and leverage the potential of the three-dimensional (3D) digital modeling platform, data analysis, artificial intelligence (AI), and the establishment of new standards for enabling services, design, and construction.

The partnership with Artefact will harness AI's potential in various functions and services, including technology transformation consultancy and the establishment of a dedicated data and AI institute. The primary goal is to drive economic growth by creating a technological environment that offers long-term and sustainable job opportunities for AlUla's growing community.

The collaboration with Dassault Systemes is centered on comprehensive infrastructure, business data, and digital product offerings. It represents the next phase in advanced 3D digital modeling projects following the successful implementation of a sustainable design, planning, and construction platform in AlUla earlier this year. This initiative will benefit from global expertise and development partners.

The overarching aim of the RCU is to position AlUla as a pioneering hub for transformation and innovation while preserving its heritage and bolstering its tourism sector.
