Riyadh, October 25, 2023, In a recent announcement, the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has unveiled an exciting partnership with Thales Group, a prominent French cybersecurity company, aimed at preserving the cultural heritage and historical structures in AlUla. This joint endeavor, introduced at the Future Investment Initiative (FII), will harness state-of-the-art digital technologies and monitoring solutions.
The primary objective of this collaboration is to integrate advanced security and safety measures into the RCU's digital platforms, ensuring the effective surveillance and protection of public sites, heritage landmarks, and historical buildings in AlUla. The overarching aim is to ensure the safeguarding and oversight of AlUla's diverse areas, including its cultural, historical, urban, and rural zones.
