Red Sea Global Celebrates Milestone: Over 5 Million Plants Propagate in Three Years

Red Sea Global (RSG) proudly announced today that its landscape nursery has achieved a remarkable milestone, surpassing five million plants since its establishment three years ago. Spanning over 1 million square meters, this nursery stands as the largest in the region, with ambitions to produce over 30 million plants by 2030 for The Red Sea and Amaala destinations, along with other upcoming projects. In a press release, RSG emphasized its commitment to nurturing regenerative tourism, a strategy integral to preserving the local environment. The landscape nursery, equipped with cutting-edge technology, aims to transform the desert into a lush oasis while safeguarding and revitalizing the Red Sea coastline. Senior Landscape Nursery Manager, Muteb Alosaimi, highlighted the complexity of combating desertification but affirmed RSG's pivotal role in realizing the goals of the Saudi Green Initiative strategy. By actively participating in climate change mitigation, RSG aims to contribute positively to the Kingdom's environmental objectives. RSG's commitment extends beyond plant propagation, as evidenced by its recent increased investment in training and employing skilled Saudis at the nursery. This strategic move aligns with RSG's dedication to ensuring that both the human workforce and the environment reap the benefits of this transformative project.
