Reigning champion Al-Ittihad reached King's Cup Round of 16

AR-RASS — The reigning Saudi Pro League champion, Al-Ittihad, narrowly advanced to the King's Cup Round of 16. After a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time, they won 7-6 in a penalty shootout against Al-Kholood. The match saw Roberto Dias of Al-Kholood accidentally scoring for Al-Ittihad in the 18th minute, and Mariano Vazquez equalizing for Al-Kholood in the 40th minute. Despite opportunities in extra time, Al-Kholood couldn't secure a victory due to goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Mayouf's vigilance. In the penalty shootout, Al-Ittihad emerged victorious, with Al-Mayouf saving a crucial penalty from Mohamed Al-Shahrani.
