KSrelief distributed flour, winter kits, and personal-care kits to 211 families in Al-Rastan, Homs Governorate, benefiting 968 individuals as part of its ongoing relief project in Syria.

Homs, January 11, 2025 – The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has recently distributed essential aid to families in the city of Al-Rastan, located in Syria's Homs Governorate. As part of its ongoing relief project in Syria, KSrelief provided 211 families with bags of flour, winter kits, and personal-care kits, directly benefiting 968 individuals in the region.

This vital assistance is aimed at addressing the immediate needs of the affected populations, particularly during the harsh winter season. The winter kits include warm clothing and other necessary items designed to help families cope with cold temperatures, while the flour and food-related assistance are crucial for those struggling to secure basic sustenance. Additionally, the personal-care kits provide necessary hygiene supplies to ensure better living conditions for vulnerable families.

The distribution of aid was carried out as part of Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to humanitarian assistance, with KSrelief working in collaboration with local partners to reach those most in need. This initiative reflects the Kingdom’s longstanding dedication to alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people, particularly as they face the compounded challenges of displacement, poverty, and the harsh realities of conflict.

Through its consistent and targeted relief efforts, KSrelief aims to provide not only immediate support but also hope for a better future for the people of Syria. By focusing on urgent needs such as food, winter protection, and hygiene, the aid package demonstrates Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting the Syrian people through their ongoing hardships, contributing to their resilience and well-being during these difficult times.

KSrelief’s operations in Syria continue to emphasize the Kingdom’s role as a leading humanitarian actor, working relentlessly to provide relief and foster stability in conflict-affected regions, while helping to mitigate the effects of war and natural hardship on vulnerable populations.
