On Thursday, January 20, 2025, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) carried out a significant humanitarian initiative in Syria’s As-Suwayda region, providing much-needed assistance to families facing difficult living conditions. The aid distribution, which directly benefitted 258 families, provided essential supplies including bags of flour, winter kits, and personal-care kits to a total of 984 individuals.

This relief effort is part of a broader, ongoing food distribution project that is coordinated in collaboration with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, underscoring the critical role that humanitarian partnerships play in delivering aid to vulnerable populations in crisis zones. The materials distributed by KSrelief are aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by Syrians as they continue to grapple with the long-lasting effects of conflict and harsh living conditions, especially as winter intensifies.

As part of Saudi Arabia’s continued commitment to offering humanitarian support globally, KSrelief’s actions in Syria are a vital part of its broader relief efforts to support the Syrian people amid ongoing challenges. This initiative is a testament to the Kingdom’s dedication to helping communities in need and reflects Saudi Arabia’s consistent focus on providing aid to those facing adversity, whether from conflict, displacement, or other crises.
