Tawaf Services Enhanced for Pilgrims
In a powerful expression of faith, service, and hospitality, Saudi Arabia has launched enrichment tracks under the Central Tawaf Program for the 1446 AH Hajj season. Announced on May 7, 2025, in Makkah, this initiative is led by the Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, in cooperation with the Coordination Council of Tawaf Company Owners.
The program, part of the General Department of Tawaf Affairs, aims to enhance the spiritual and procedural aspects of Tawaf, beginning with Tawaf al-Qudum—the arrival circumambulation. Services include personalized guidance, welcoming pilgrims in their languages, and structured support to help them perform this sacred rite correctly.
More than 13,470 pilgrims of various nationalities have already benefited from the program this season. Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, President of Religious Affairs, emphasized that enriching the Tawaf experience aligns directly with organizational directives and the Kingdom’s mission to ensure comfort, knowledge, and peace for every pilgrim.
This program highlights Vision 2030’s aim to expand and elevate Hajj services, build on Saudi Arabia’s religious leadership, and create a spiritually rewarding journey for every pilgrim, regardless of origin.
By enriching Hajj experiences through structured Tawaf services, Saudi Arabia showcases religious leadership in harmony with Vision 2030 goals.
