Representatives of International and Islamic News Agencies See the Prophet's Mosque and Madinah's Historical Sites


The Saudi Press Agency Commission is cooperating with foreign and Islamic news agencies in broadcasting the events of Hajj 1445.


The journalists visited the Museum of the Prophet's Biography to different exhibitions and various lectures on the Prophet's life and heritage, including the history of the Prophet's Mosque.


They also attended an architectural design display of the Prophet's Mosque and visited a room displaying rare objects and antiquated pieces from the Two Holy Mosques. After this historic houses of worship briefing, a visit to Quba Square was organized to complete the adventure with a city tour.


Madinah, June 20, 2024." In order to provide coverage of the 1445 Hajj, the Saudi Press Agency Commission (SPA) is working toward the formation of media partnerships with numerous important international and Islamic news agencies. This campaign included representatives from foreign and Islamic news organizations traveling to the Prophet's Mosque, as well as several historical landmarks related to the Prophet's biography. These visits were carried out as part of the campaign.The representatives had an amazing and fascinating experience while traveling. They visited the Museum of the Prophet's Biography, where they saw several exhibit pavilions that illustrated different facets of the Prophet's life. A panoramic picture of the Noble Prophet's Chamber was also revealed to them, tracing its history from the beginning to the Saudi revolution.A visual technology presentation was also included in the exhibition, which was shown on the screens that are now in use. Models and dynamic interactive screens, for instance, displayed the history and reconstruction of the pulpit used by the Noble Prophet.


 In addition, the exhibition brought attention to the efforts that the Kingdom is making to ensure that the Holy Quran, the Sunnah, and the Two Holy Mosques are followed. The media representatives also went to the exhibition of the architecture of the Prophet's Mosque to gain knowledge about the different sections and architectural characteristics contained within the mosque. The fair was showcasing cutting edge technology such as an interactive panel with information about Prophet's Mosque; TV Film Centre; an old cinema telling history of the building, and many others. Also, at the event there was a special showcase room with unusual items of value which included items from both Makkah and Madina among other well-preserved ancient objects.


 They also visited the Prophet's Mosque, where they observed the plaza, the pulpit, the mihrab, the domes, the canopies, the doors, the Adhan, the muezzins, and the minarets. The excursion came to a close with a tour of Quba Square, during which the delegates were given information about ancient places of worship, including the Al-Ghamamah Mosque, the Abu Bakr Mosque, the Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque, Quba Castle, and the Quba Mosque.
