Rimac Automobili is commemorating a year of performance record-breaking with the introduction of the Nevera Time Attack at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. More than 20 records have been broken so far in 2023. The Rimac Nevera set a new record for an electric production car lap time at the Nürburgring of 7:05:298 on its debut at the renowned and perpetually difficult Nürburgring track, breaking the previous record by 20 seconds. The new one-of-12 Limited Edition was unveiled on the same day that it was confirmed that Nevera had broken yet another record.
The Nevera has broken more than 20 records so far this year, and this one is only the most recent. The Rimac Nevera set 23 performance records in a single day in April 2023 at the Automotive Testing Papenburg (ATP) in Germany, including 0-100 km/h, 0-200 km/h, and 0-300 km/h. The Nevera had already exceeded 412 km/h when it arrived at the ATP circuit, earning the title of EV with the highest certified top speed.
"The Nevera has reinvented the world of the hypercar in many ways, bringing new technologies, new abilities, and new levels of performance," stated Mate Rimac, founder and CEO of the Rimac Group. But going out and setting records is the quickest way we can show off its power. And in 2023, we will have repeatedly carried out that action. The Nevera Time Attack is a limited edition that honors the accomplishments of the previous year and features a custom livery drawn from the vehicle that launched each one. Each of the 12 units, which were produced in a series, has already been claimed by clients eager to own a piece of performance car history. There is still plenty of time for other records to be broken because it is only August.
The Rimac Automobili Color and Trim team created the custom paintwork for the Time Attack in-house and hand-applied it to achieve a flawless finish. The Nevera, which has traveled the globe setting records, is mostly Squadron Black with Lightning Green accents and two stripes running from front to back. This custom shade of Lightning Green was created in response to an odd weather occurrence that occurs prior to a storm, during which charged ionized particles give the sky a stunning, potent, and vibrant green color. It serves as a clear indication of the power that will soon be released. The hue also pays respect to Mate Rimac's electric BMW 3 Series, the e-M3, which the FIA independently validated in 2012 as the world's fastest-accelerating electric car at the time. Nevera's predecessor and the first record-breaker for Rimac.
The Time Attack's interior features a base of black Alcantara with highlights and contrast stitching in the outside color, as well as other customized features. Each specimen has specially made "Time Attack" stitching on the seat backs and an engraved plaque that reads, "Time Attack: 1 of 12."

The record-breaking Nevera, which has already been crowned one of the greatest hypercars of the year, is now available for purchase in the UAE. The Al Habtoor Rimac showroom, scheduled to debut in Q1 2024, will be known for its Nevera.
