Riyadh hosts Arabic edition of prestigious "SIRHA Exhibition" in 2024

Riyadh, November 9, 2023, In a strategic partnership between the Culinary Arts Commission and the Saudi Conventions and Exhibitions General Authority (SCEGA), the Arabic edition of the renowned "SIRHA Exhibition" is set to take place in Riyadh from October 1 to 3, 2024.


The SIRHA Exhibition is a prestigious international event focused on food and hospitality services, boasting a 20-year history and featuring esteemed global culinary competitions like the World Cup of Pastry - Bocos D'or.


The Arabic edition of SIRHA Exhibition will showcase 350 exhibitors and brands specializing in food, equipment, bakeries, pastries, and coffee products across three main zones that promise engaging content for visitors. These zones include the SIRHA Forum, providing a platform for conversations with experts and industry professionals; the SIRHA Masters, offering specialized workshops featuring a blend of local and international cuisine; and the Entrepreneurship Zone, dedicated to promoting innovations and novelties in the Middle East market.


The primary SIRHA Exhibition, held biennially in Lyon, France, is a globally recognized event in the food and hospitality industry, presenting international updates on pastries, home decor, baking, beverages, cooking equipment and technologies, as well as culinary arts in the hotel sector. It also hosts various specialized trade exhibitions in the food industry.


By hosting the Arabic edition of SIRHA, the Culinary Arts Commission aims to contribute to the development of arts and culture in Saudi Arabia, aligning with the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030 by expanding the scope of hospitality and culinary exhibitions in the years to come. This initiative aims to attract a diverse range of local and international food-service providers, uniting them in a single exhibition that offers a rich cultural experience, highlighting the culinary sector within the Kingdom and catering to both the local community and international tourists.


Simultaneously, SCEGA collaborates with multiple sectors to attract global events to Saudi Arabia, with the overarching objective of boosting the growth of the exhibitions and conferences sector. These efforts include promoting unique opportunities and advantages, thereby stimulating the local market and elevating sector standards and quality.
