Riyadh, February 18, 2024, Riyadh is set to host the highly anticipated third edition of LEAP, the world's most attended tech event, taking place from March 4 to 7, 2024, at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, Malham.
Organized by the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, Tahaluf company, and the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at), this year's event carries the theme "Into New Worlds."
The organizing committee announced a lineup of expert speakers, including IBM Chairman Arvind Krishna, HPE CEO Antonio Neri, and Zoom Video Communications CEO Eric Yuan. The event will encompass various stages, including the Investor Stage and Main Stage, with discussions on web 3, unicorns, tech giant strategies, and user privacy in technology. The event will also feature tracks such as EduTech, RetailTech, FinTech, HealthTech, 4IR, Future Energy, and Smart Cities.
DeepFest, in partnership with the Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA), will return for its second edition at LEAP, featuring over 150 speakers and 120 exhibitors.
The focal point of this edition is Artificial Intelligence (AI), covering topics such as the dawn of AI, foundations, and breakthroughs; AI achievements, applications, and impact; AI frontier, innovations, and emerging technologies; and AI's future, collaborations, ethics, and sustainability.
LEAP is expected to host over 1,800 global tech exhibitors, including major players like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Dell, Cisco, Avaya, SAP, ServiceNow, Amazon Web Services, IBM, Alibaba, and Huawei.
Eng. Haitham AlOhali, Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology, expressed a warm welcome to thought leaders, influencers, investors, and innovators from around the world, emphasizing that this edition of LEAP arrives at a crucial turning point with generative artificial intelligence impacting the economic and social landscape.
Muteb Alqani, CEO of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones, highlighted the event's aim to empower technology globally, bringing together major tech companies, startups, and investors under one roof, fostering potential investments and launches.
LEAP, returning for its third edition, has seen immense success in its previous iterations, with over 1,000 speakers, 600 startups, and an expected attendance of 172,000 for this year's event.
