Riyadh Region Governor Inaugurates Third Global Conference for Giftedness and Creativity

Cultural and Collaborative Opportunities: In addition to the main conference, an exhibition and cultural visits enrich the experience, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 to position the Kingdom as a global hub for talent, creativity, and innovation.
Third Edition of the Global Conference for Giftedness and Creativity: The conference, held under the patronage of King Salman and inaugurated by Prince Faisal bin Bandar, is organized by Mawhiba and focuses on developing systems to support gifted individuals and fostering international cooperation in science, technology, and innovation.

Riyadh, November 25, 2024 – Under the esteemed patronage of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, officially inaugurated the third edition of the Global Conference for Giftedness and Creativity on Sunday. The event, held at the prestigious King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) in Riyadh, is organized by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba). Running from November 24 to 26, this year’s conference has gathered thought leaders, innovators, and experts from across the world to focus on fostering creativity and innovation among gifted individuals.


Themed "Beyond Creative Minds," the conference is a cornerstone event aimed at exploring and unleashing the full potential of gifted individuals, while also developing a comprehensive care system to support and nurture their talents. The conference's objectives extend to bolstering strategic partnerships and enhancing global cooperation in the fields of science, technology, and innovation. It is designed to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas, facilitating opportunities for both local and international participants to engage in meaningful collaborations.


More than 300 talented individuals, alongside local and international speakers representing over 50 countries, are participating in this dynamic event. The conference features a robust program of six dialogue sessions and eight workshops, designed to inspire thought-provoking discussions and innovative solutions to contemporary global challenges. Additionally, the Creative Creation segment, which includes four distinct tracks, offers participants a deep dive into the future of creativity and problem-solving across various sectors. Engaging keynote speakers from diverse fields will share insights on the latest trends and technologies driving global innovation.


Beyond the formal sessions, the conference also includes a vibrant exhibition showcasing cutting-edge ideas, technologies, and creative projects, as well as a series of cultural visits to further enrich the experience for attendees. These activities are designed to offer a well-rounded view of the intersection between creativity, culture, and innovation.


Upon his arrival at the conference venue, Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz was warmly welcomed by a distinguished group of leaders, including the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Abdullah Humanitarian Foundation, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Education Yousef Al-Benyan, Chairman of Mawhiba’s Board of Directors Suleiman Al-Zaben, and Acting Secretary-General of Mawhiba Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Sharif. Their presence underscores the significance of this event, which is expected to play a key role in shaping the future of talent development and innovation in the Kingdom and beyond.
