RIYADH— Riyadh is set to host the Italian Super Cup for the fourth time, according to an announcement by the Saudi Ministry of Sports. The tournament, scheduled to take place from January 18 to 22, 2024, will feature four renowned Italian football teams: Inter Milan, Napoli, Lazio, and Fiorentina.
The knockout format matches will be held at Al Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh. The tournament kicks off with a match between Napoli and Fiorentina on January 18. The following day, on January 19, Inter Milan, the reigning champions from the previous edition, will face Lazio. The winners of these matches will compete in the final, which is scheduled for January 22.
This marks the fourth occasion that Saudi Arabia has hosted the Italian Super Cup. The first edition took place in Jeddah, where Juventus emerged victorious against AC Milan. Riyadh hosted the second edition, with Lazio securing the title against Juventus, and the third edition saw Inter Milan triumph over AC Milan.
