Colbeth’s career with the BMW Group began in 2007, where he held various leadership positions in Parts Logistics and Ownership Services. His first international assignment came in 2015 when he served as Aftersales Director for Northern Europe, based in Stockholm, Sweden. This role marked a significant step in his career, allowing him to hone his skills in a diverse market.
In 2018, Colbeth transitioned to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Goodwood, England, taking on the role of Global Head of Ownership Services. Here, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the post-purchase client journey. During his tenure, Colbeth established strong relationships with dealer partners and valued clients worldwide. He played a key role in transforming the global ownership experience through several initiatives, including the launch of a state-of-the-art parts distribution network designed to ensure seamless service support for clients.
Notably, Colbeth was instrumental in pioneering the marque’s first-ever extended ownership program, which has significantly enhanced customer loyalty and engagement. Additionally, he expanded the brand’s accessory business, further deepening the connection between Rolls-Royce and its exclusive clientele.
As Colbeth prepares to take the helm in North America, he succeeds Martin Fritsches, who is set to transition to a new role within the BMW Group. Under Fritsches’ stewardship, Rolls-Royce North America has experienced consistent growth and value creation, solidifying its status as the company’s largest market worldwide.
The transition in leadership comes at a pivotal moment for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, as the luxury automotive market continues to evolve. With Colbeth’s extensive background and innovative approach, the company is poised to enhance its commitment to providing an unparalleled ownership experience for its discerning clients in North America.
