Rolls-Royce unveils unique Cinque Terre-inspired Phantom celebrating Italian beauty

Rolls-Royce Unveils Unique Phantom 'Inspired by Cinque Terre' Celebrating Italian Riviera Beauty and Winemaking Traditions.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars proudly introduces the world to the exclusive Phantom 'Inspired by Cinque Terre.' This one-of-a-kind bespoke motor car pays homage to the captivating allure and rich viticultural heritage of the legendary Italian Riviera.

Situated on the picturesque Ligurian coastline of northern Italy, the Cinque Terre, which translates to 'Five Lands,' boasts five ancient fishing villages: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore. These cliffside hamlets are globally renowned for their steeply terraced vineyards overlooking the Mediterranean, a spectacle that has left an indelible mark on the world of winemaking.

The Phantom 'Inspired by Cinque Terre' is a masterful tribute to this breathtaking region, with meticulous details that evoke its charm and viticultural traditions. Its exterior is finished in a deep and opulent Ligurian Blue, accentuated by a hand-applied double coachline in Navy Blue and Jasmine, adorned with a delicate grapes motif.

Stepping inside, the interior melds Grace White and Navy Blue leather with Jasmine accents, featuring an exquisite grape-branch embroidery on the rear doors. Remarkably, each embroidery piece consists of 9,215 stitches, utilizing two distinct techniques. The grapes themselves are meticulously embroidered using satin stitch, their threads aligned to catch the light and give each grape a lifelike sheen. The grape leaves, on the other hand, employ a flatter tatami stitch, providing tactile contrast and enhancing the overall embroidery.

The grapes motif extends to intricate inlays on the picnic tables, crafted from stainless steel and gold plating. These surfaces are first painted in Milori Blue with a subtle sparkle, creating depth and vibrancy. Then, by hand, the inlays are precisely applied and sealed with clear lacquer. Finally, each surface is meticulously sanded and hand-polished, resulting in a seamless, flawless finish.

Above, the Bespoke Starlight Headliner showcases a meticulously embroidered map of Italy, comprising an astonishing 14,338 individual stitches. Five radiant stars, hand-positioned to align with the Cinque Terre villages along the coastline, illuminate the headliner. Crafting this design took over a month, with the Bespoke Collective refining line weights to achieve the perfect balance between shimmer and delicate detail.

The motor car's expansive fascia houses a remarkable, specially commissioned artwork within the Gallery. This artwork captures the vivid colors, unique architecture, and vibrant character of Cinque Terre. Initially conceived digitally, the composition is then painstakingly airbrushed by hand using water-based acrylic paint, resulting in an extraordinary level of detail. Multiple coats of clear lacquer enhance and protect the painting, ensuring it can be admired by all the motor car's occupants.

Even the glove compartment receives a special touch, featuring silver debossing that depicts the five villages.

Phantom 'Inspired by Cinque Terre' has taken its place within the collection of its discerning owner, destined to remain a true one-of-a-kind commission, never to be duplicated.
