Riyadh, January 31, 2024, ROSHN Group received commendation for its exemplary philanthropic efforts during the third Annual Benefactors Ceremony of the National Platform for Charitable Work (Ehsan) on Sunday. The ceremony, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdualziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, was attended by various ministers, benefactors, and notable figures.
The prestigious award was presented to ROSHN’s Group Chief Marketing Officer (GCMO), Ghada Al-Rumayan, by the Governor of Riyadh. Al-Rumayan represented the group at the ceremony and accepted the recognition for ROSHN's role as a platinum benefactor to Ehsan in the National Campaign for Charitable Work during Ramadan 2023.
ROSHN's YUHYEEK Corporate Social Responsibility program collaborates with Ehsan on diverse community development initiatives, encompassing private and care home renovations, support for health services through mobile clinics, dialysis machines, and rehabilitation services for individuals with disabilities and autism. The partnership also extends to backing various community and volunteer programs across the Kingdom.
Expressing gratitude, Al-Rumayan acknowledged the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their generous contributions and sponsorship of the ceremony. She appreciated the presence of Riyadh's governor, Dr. Majed Al-Qasabi, head of EHSAN's supervisory committee, the president of SDAIA, and all attendees.
Al-Rumayan emphasized the honor of being recognized by Ehsan and highlighted the collaborative efforts to make a positive impact on the quality of life in the Kingdom. She described the recognition as a testament to the dedication and hard work of the ROSHN team and partners at Ehsan, encouraging continued efforts to be a beacon of hope for those in need.
ROSHN's partnership with Ehsan was formalized through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed in March 2023. This MoU has been a pivotal milestone in ROSHN’s broader community-driven initiatives under the YUHYEEK program, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
