Riyadh, January 17, 2024, ROSHN Group, one of Saudi Arabia's leading real estate developers and a giga-project owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has successfully concluded the ROSHN Supply Chain Forum. The event brought together over 800 local and international supply chain leaders to explore collaboration opportunities with ROSHN in transforming Saudi Arabia's real estate sector. During the forum, eight new partnerships were signed, underlining ROSHN Group's dedication to advancing Saudi Vision 2030 and enhancing the quality of life.
The agreements signed at the forum cover various aspects of collaboration, including supply chains, manufacturing, licensing, and training. These partnerships aim to support ROSHN's development of innovative, integrated, and sustainable real estate projects while contributing to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, such as economic diversification and attracting foreign direct investment.
Some key collaborations include:
1. ROSHN and the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIM): Collaboration on establishing market intelligence, facilitating industrial licenses, and utilizing the National Center for Industrial and Mining Information's databases.
2. ROSHN and the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA): Alignment on prequalification requirements and processes for contractors, optimizing the contractor selection process.
3. ROSHN and Partanna: Collaboration on a carbon-negative concrete facility in Saudi Arabia using Partanna's CO2-absorbing concrete.
4. ROSHN and Pure. Tech: Exploring a partnership for sustainable construction solutions, including the use of Pure. Tech's CO2 absorbing additives in ROSHN's projects.
5. ROSHN and Saudi Emaar: Investigating a potential agreement to expand factory capacities, focusing on manufacturing internal wooden doors for ROSHN properties.
6. ROSHN and Connected Innovations: Exploring the manufacturing and distribution of Smart Sockets to enhance safety and energy efficiency in ROSHN projects.
7. ROSHN and Schüco International KG: Studying the possibility of developing a PVC-U profile manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia.
8. ROSHN and Lixil / Grohe: Considering a partnership opportunity for a localized production and manufacturing facility for sanitaryware and sanitary fixtures.
These collaborations aim to drive innovation, sustainability, and economic growth in line with Saudi Vision 2030. Additionally, existing success partners were recognized for their contributions across ROSHN's completed and ongoing developments, showcasing excellence in design, execution, innovation, and collaboration.
