Jeddah, October 05, 2023, The Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) is set to host the upcoming LIV Golf Jeddah event presented by ROSHN, scheduled for October 13 to 15. This tournament marks the 13th and second-to-last competition on the 2023 LIV Golf League calendar and will feature renowned golfers, including Brooks Koepka, the individual title winner at LIV Golf Orlando and the captain of the Smash GC team.
Koepka has enjoyed a remarkable year, securing a runner-up finish at the Masters, clinching his fifth major victory at the PGA Championship, and recently participating in the Ryder Cup. Currently ranked fifth in the individual standings with 112 points, the 33-year-old champion is poised for another impressive showing.
The stakes are high as the top 24 players in the overall individual standings will secure a spot in the 2024 LIV Golf League, while those ranked from 25th to 44th face potential release or trade from their respective teams. Players in lower positions will have the opportunity to participate in qualifiers, offering a chance to regain a spot among the active players in the league.
