RSG introduces Thuwal Private Retreat, an exclusive island destination project

Tabuk, October 24, 2023, Red Sea Global (RSG), the developer behind the Red Sea and Amaala giga-projects, has unveiled its latest endeavor: the Thuwal Private Retreat. This exclusive island destination, accessible only through buy-out reservations, is set to welcome guests in the coming year, as per an RSG press release.

The retreat is situated on a pristine 1.7-hectare sandy islet within a stunning coral archipelago along the Red Sea coast, offering natural beauty harmonized with discreet architectural design to provide guests with the epitome of luxury in complete seclusion.

Featuring a spacious main three-bedroom villa, three one-bedroom suites, a beach club, a gym, and a wellness center, the Thuwal Private Retreat is designed to provide guests with the opportunity to detach from the pressures of daily life and instead reconnect with their closest companions, according to Red Sea Global Group CEO John Pagano.

This venture signifies a new phase for Red Sea Global, with the retreat operating as a distinct entity from the Red Sea and Amaala projects. Notably, it is entirely owned by RSG, without the involvement of third-party hospitality or hotel operators, marking a first in RSG's development history.

Furthermore, in alignment with RSG's broader vision of combining luxury with conscious sustainability, Thuwal Private Retreat is committed to working with local food producers, collaborating with local artisans and restaurants to offer unique experiences. The developer is also actively seeking to employ individuals from the local community, particularly Saudis interested in entering the luxury and private concierge hospitality sector.

Earlier this month, RSG also announced its responsibility for refurbishment works at Al Wajh Airport (EJH). This project aims to modernize the airport to meet international standards, encompassing upgrades to the existing terminal and infrastructure, in addition to the construction of a new international terminal. These efforts are intended to enhance connectivity, creating job opportunities for local residents.
