RSG partners with M3 to enhance Amaala Yacht Club's status

Tabuk, September 28, 2023, Red Sea Global (RSG), the visionary developer behind two of the world's most regenerative tourism havens, The Red Sea and Amaala, has announced a strategic partnership with Monaco Marina Management (M3) aimed at elevating RSG's Amaala Yacht Club to become a premier global yachting destination. This significant collaboration was unveiled through an official signing ceremony at the Monaco Yacht Show, hosted at the Saudi Red Sea Authority exhibition stand, according to a press release issued by RSG.

The joint effort will involve fulfilling the stringent criteria and standards required for certification as 'La Belle Classe Destinations' once the Amaala Yacht Club is operational. This certification is a prestigious accolade within the yachting industry, denoting excellence for yacht clubs and marinas worldwide. Beyond this, the partnership encompasses the development of an event calendar, establishment of a sailing academy, provision of training and recruitment support, and the creation of seasonal reciprocal opportunities for members, cadets, and youth.

The 'La Belle Classe Destinations' certification is granted to yachting destinations that exemplify a profound commitment to maritime ethics, etiquette, and environmental conservation. Those who attain this recognition join a global network dedicated to shaping the future of sailing and yachting while upholding these vital values, as emphasized in the press release.

Mr. Pagano, representing RSG, underlined the company's dedication to empowering Saudi nationals through this initiative, highlighting that marina employees would receive top-notch training in Monaco and at Amaala. This commitment aligns with RSG's mission to create destinations that are not just for the people but also by the people of Saudi Arabia.

José Marco Casellini, CEO of Monaco Marina Management, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, citing the alignment between RSG's vision for regenerative tourism and M3's mission to promote sustainable yachting. The goal is to position the Amaala Yacht Club and Saudi Arabia as prominent players on the global yachting stage, ultimately contributing to the broader collective.

The ambitious Amaala project is already in motion, with Phase One focusing on the Triple Bay masterplan set to open in 2025. This phase will comprise eight resorts, offering over 1,200 hotel rooms. Upon completion, Amaala is poised to feature more than 3,900 hotel rooms across 29 hotels, as well as around 1,200 luxury residential villas, apartments, and estate homes. The development will cater to high-end retail, fine dining, wellness facilities, equestrian amenities, and recreational offerings.
