Tabuk, March 24, 2025 – Red Sea Global (RSG) has launched multiple community development initiatives as part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility, reinforcing its dedication to empowering Red Sea residents.
As part of Corporate Social Responsibility Day, RSG established four strategic partnerships with regional associations and introduced initiatives designed to integrate residents into its sustainable development vision, creating a lasting positive impact on individuals and families.
One of the most significant initiatives is the Red Sea Farms Cooperative, Tamala, which aims to advance the agricultural sector in the Tabuk Region by enhancing product quality and providing guidance to farmers. Through this program, up to 3,000 farmers benefit from improved production, yielding approximately 44,000 kilograms of crops.
RSG also launched Jewar, a digital app designed to enhance community engagement by facilitating direct communication, job opportunities, and educational programs. Jewar, which won ‘Best Community Engagement Program’ at the 2024 TDM Travel Trade Excellence Awards, has gained over 30,000 users and created 180 jobs for local residents.
To equip the local workforce with essential skills, RSG introduced the English for Tourism Program, offering six months of online language classes. A total of 2,000 young people graduated from the program, with 45 securing employment within RSG.
Highlighting the importance of maritime heritage, RSG restored 13 traditional boats and launched the Red Sea Classic Sailing Race. The company also sponsored camel races in Umluj, AlWajh, and AlAis, in collaboration with the Saudi Camel Racing Federation, to celebrate Saudi Arabia’s 94th National Day. These events aim to preserve national heritage while connecting younger generations with their cultural roots.
During Ramadan 2025, RSG partnered with Sakan Organization and local municipalities to sponsor various events, including the Ahlan Ramadan Festival in AlWajh, the Umluj Zaman Festival, and sports tournaments such as volleyball and football championships in AlWajh, AlAis, and Duba. These initiatives underscore RSG’s ongoing engagement with Red Sea communities across diverse occasions.
