Arsal, October 22, 2023, The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has been actively executing Phase Four of a project aimed at improving healthcare services for Syrian refugees and the local population in Arsal, located in the Baalbek Governorate of Lebanon. During the month of August 2023, the Arsal Health Center provided medical care to a total of 7,224 patients. These individuals received a comprehensive range of services, totaling 15,480 across various clinic sections, including the pharmacy, laboratory, nursing, and community and psychological health programs. Among the patients, 41% were male, and 59% were female. Of the beneficiaries, 65% were refugees, while 35% were residents.
This humanitarian aid initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's unwavering commitment, represented by KSrelief, to extend a helping hand to those in need, with a particular focus on Syrian refugees. The support spans multiple sectors and is geared toward alleviating their hardships during the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
