He emphasized Saudi Arabia's commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2060 and reducing CO2 emissions by 278 million tons by 2030. Al-Jasser highlighted the significant impact of the transport and logistics sector on global emissions, addressing the need for strong measures to address the issue, including fuel efficiency standards, improving public transportation, promoting clean vehicle technology, and planting trees on the sides of roads. The National Strategy for Transport and Logistic Services aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 and the country's climate action agenda, setting ambitious targets for emissions reduction.
