Madinah, April 30, 2024, Rua Al Madinah Holding has struck a partnership deal with Hilton to introduce three hotels as part of its Rua Al Madinah project. These hotels, namely Conrad Rua Al Madinah, DoubleTree by Hilton Rua Al Madinah, and Hilton Garden Inn Rua Al Madinah, will collectively offer more than 1,600 rooms, as revealed in a press statement from Rua Al Madinah.
Situated to the east of the Prophet's Mosque, Rua Al Madinah is designed to create a contemporary urban setting while respecting the religious and cultural significance of Madinah.
The partnership agreement with Hilton is seen as a significant milestone for Rua Al Madinah, marking the introduction of the upscale Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand to the city. This venture is anticipated to generate over 1,100 employment opportunities, providing career prospects for Saudi nationals.
Ahmed Al Juhani, CEO of Rua Al Madinah Holding, remarked, "This hotel management agreement is a pivotal move toward enhancing the experience for local and international visitors in Madinah. Our project aims to contribute to increasing visitor capacity and delivering an unparalleled experience."
Guy Hutchinson, President for the Middle East and Africa at Hilton, emphasized the strategic importance of the agreement with Rua Al Madinah, noting its role in expanding Hilton's footprint in Saudi Arabia. These hotels are expected to enrich Hilton's presence in Madinah, serving the thousands of visitors and pilgrims who pass through the city annually.
Hilton currently operates 19 hotels in Saudi Arabia, including renowned properties such as Waldorf Astoria Jeddah – Qasr Al Sharq, Conrad Makkah, and Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences. The company's development pipeline includes over 60 properties, featuring new brands like LXR Hotels & Resorts, Canopy by Hilton, and Embassy Suites by Hilton, aligning with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goal of accommodating 30 million visitors.
Through strategic agreements within the Rua Al Madinah project, Rua Al Madinah Holding aims to enhance visitor experiences in Madinah with premier hospitality services, in line with the objectives of Vision 2030.
