Doha, January 30, 2024, The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) has introduced a new mobile application, SAFF FANS, designed to provide electronic services to national team fans attending the 2023 AFC Asian Cup in Qatar. The app, developed by the SAFF Technology and Innovation Department in just 58 days, aims to enhance the experience of Saudi fans during their stay in Qatar.
The SAFF FANS application offers a range of services to simplify and enrich the fans' journey. Among its features, the app allows fans to purchase match tickets, access information about matches, inquire about transportation and accommodation options, and stay updated on the national team's matches. The app administrators are available around the clock to assist users.
Since its launch, the SAFF FANS application has garnered positive response, with 4,500 fans having already downloaded the app. This initiative reflects the use of technology to enhance the overall fan experience and ensure a seamless and enjoyable engagement during major sports events like the AFC Asian Cup.
