
Riyadh, March 21, 2025 – SAL Saudi Logistics Services Company and Sela Company have signed an agreement in Riyadh to develop the SAR4-billion SAL Logistics Zone, spanning over 1.5 million square meters within the Falcons City project north of Riyadh. This initiative supports strategic partnerships, strengthens the logistics sector, and reinforces Saudi Arabia’s position as a global logistics hub in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
The signing ceremony was attended by Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Transport and Logistic Services Saleh Al-Jasser, General Authority of Civil Aviation President Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, Saudi Falcons Club CEO Talal bin Abdulaziz Al-Shamaisi, along with several officials, investors, and business leaders. The agreement was signed by SAL CEO Omar bin Talal Hariri and Sela Managing Director Rakan Al-Harthy.
Located in the Malham area, home to the Saudi Falcons Club, Falcons City serves as a cultural and heritage landmark, contributing to tourism and international events. The integration of economic projects with heritage initiatives aims to attract visitors and investors, positioning the area as a comprehensive destination blending modern economic development with cultural preservation.
Hariri emphasized that the logistics zone’s strategic location near King Khalid International Airport, major highways, and rail networks will enhance shipping and distribution capabilities, strengthening Saudi Arabia’s role as a key global trade hub. The SAR4-billion investment aligns with SAL’s strategic plan to establish a world-class logistics facility featuring high-quality, Category A warehouses and storage spaces.
Falcons City, spanning 14.4 million square meters, is an advanced integrated city offering economic, commercial, residential, hospitality, and entertainment facilities. It includes a logistics hub attracting major global companies, an aviation runway, an aircraft maintenance area, the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center, and an outlet mall, all designed to enhance air transport efficiency and cater to investors, residents, and visitors.
