Riyadh, March 5, 2024, Under the patronage of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Salam for Cultural Communication project recently organized a graduation ceremony for the sixth batch of participants in the Young Leaders Program for Global Communication. The event, attended by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed bin AbdulKarim El-Khereiji and other officials, saw the distribution of certificates to 70 young men and women graduates.
Eng. Waleed bin AbdulKarim El-Khereiji highlighted the significance of the Young Leaders Program for Global Communication in today's context, emphasizing the importance of cultural dialogue and coexistence at regional and international levels. He noted that effective communication is essential for creating a society capable of achieving common human goals. The program aims to invest in the energy of young people, enabling them to interact and participate in international forums, engage with international organizations, and project an accurate image of Saudi Arabia's role in promoting peace and dialogue among cultures.
Dr. Mohammed bin Hussein Al-Sayed, the Executive Director of Salam for Cultural Communication, emphasized that their programs align with the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030. These efforts, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, aim to enhance the Kingdom's image and cultural communication. The organization focuses on developing national capacities, providing knowledge and basic skills for global communication, conducting studies, analyzing perceptions of the Kingdom in research centers and media outlets, and assessing how the Kingdom is portrayed in other societies. The initiative reflects Saudi Arabia's commitment to fostering positive global relationships and understanding.
