Riyadh, March 23, 2025 – The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) celebrated the graduation of 68 individuals who completed the Cyber Anti-Fraud Program (CAFP). The program participants, from SAMA, local banks, digital banks, and electronic wallet institutions, finished three months of rigorous training at the University of Cambridge.
This second edition of the program is part of a national initiative by SAMA aimed at enhancing the skills and capabilities of the nation's workforce in combating cyber threats that target both organizations and individuals.
The program provided practical instruction on SAMA's Counter-Fraud Framework, improving participants' understanding of fraud techniques, associated risks, and prevention strategies. It focused on four key pillars: governance, countermeasures, monitoring, and response. Additionally, the program offered hands-on experience working alongside global banks and financial institutions.
