Riyadh, April 17, 2024, The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has officially commenced registration for its highly anticipated fourth edition of the Investment Immersion Program (IIP) on April 17, 2024, with a six-week window for interested applicants.
In a recent press release by SAMA, the Investment Immersion Program is described as an intensive apprenticeship designed to recruit and nurture local investment professionals. The program encompasses a comprehensive curriculum consisting of academic courses and hands-on practical training across various investment sectors. Developed in collaboration with the prestigious Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a renowned business school in the United States, and several prominent global banks and asset management firms, the IIP aims to provide participants with invaluable exposure to relevant industry practices.
Key components of the program include an advanced technical course, immersive on-the-job training with international financial institutions and asset managers, and rotational assignments within the investment deputyship at the Saudi Central Bank. These rotations will be conducted under the guidance of seasoned experts in asset management and global financial markets, offering participants a unique and enriching learning experience.
