Hail, February 06, 2024, The Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) has unveiled the roster of participants for the highly anticipated Hail Toyota International Rally 2024. Serving as the inaugural event of the 2024 season for the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas, the opening leg of the FIA Middle East Bajas Cup, and the debut event of the Saudi Toyota Desert Rally Championship, it also marks the commencement of the FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship.
With a diverse field comprising 164 racers and riders hailing from 24 different nations, the rally promises an exhilarating showcase of skill and competition. Among the participants are 97 drivers vying for victory in the car category, while 25 riders, along with six in the quad bike category, are set to take on the challenging terrain astride motorcycles.
Notable contenders include Yazeed Al-Rajhi, the reigning titleholder of the rally and the Kingdom Toyota Desert Rally Championship, as well as the esteemed FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rally Bajas champion. Their presence adds an extra layer of excitement to an already action-packed event.
