Makkah, June 11, 2024. Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) has informed us that the Mashaer Metro Train is ready to serve pilgrims during this year's Hajj season, which starts on the seventh day of the month of DhulHIJJAH.SAR reported that on the evening of Tarwiyah day, the ninth day of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, the Mashaer train will start transporting pilgrims from Mina to Arafat. The organization has been conducting preparations for the Hajj season for the past three months, according to SAR. This includes the execution of maintenance and testing operations. We create these activities with the utmost safety and quality standards in mind, making sure the train and its stations are properly equipped. The goal of these steps is to ensure that trains run continuously at each of the nine stops surrounding the holy Mashaer. Every Mashaer in Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Mina is assigned three stations, which are dispersed throughout the neighborhood.

The last station, located beneath the Jamarat Bridge, connects to its fourth level. Since it first started operating in 2010, the Mashaer rail line has had a total of seventeen trains in its fleet. The entire train system's capacity is up to 72,000 people per hour, with each train carrying 3,000 passengers.
