SASO Delegation Visits Thailand to Strengthen Cooperation and Enhance Product Standards

Bangkok, April 11, 2025 - A Saudi delegation, headed by Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) Dr. Saad bin Othman Alkasabi, visited Bangkok with the aim of improving product quality and safety and strengthening trade and economic partnerships between both countries.

 The visit included an extensive workshop and bilateral meetings focused on strengthening partnerships with Thai manufacturers and exporters, supporting trade exchange, and raising the quality standards of imported products.

 This visit aligns with SASO's ongoing efforts to improve product safety and quality and raise awareness of standard specifications, technical regulations, and conformity verification procedures. These efforts aim at increasing trade exchange, reducing technical barriers, enhancing cooperative relations, and partnering with counterparts
