Riyadh, April 13, 2024, As per the National Center for Meteorology's forecast, Saturday's weather is expected to range from partially cloudy to cloudy skies in various regions. Some areas, particularly Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Riyadh, and parts of the eastern region, may experience rainy thunderstorms alongside dust-stirring winds at times.
In the Medina region, visibility could be affected due to winds. Over the Red Sea, expect northerly to northwesterly winds with speeds ranging from 10 to 35 km/h, increasing to 45 km/h in the northern part. In the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, winds will be southeasterly at speeds of 10 to 30 km/h.
Regarding sea conditions, waves in the northern parts of the Red Sea are anticipated to be between half a meter and two and a half meters, leading to calm to choppy seas. In the Arabian Gulf, winds will vary from northwesterly to southwesterly at speeds of 10 to 30 km/h in the northern part, while the southern part will experience westerly to northwesterly winds at speeds of 15 to 40 km/h. Waves in the Gulf will range from half a meter to one meter, creating calm to choppy sea conditions.
